Workday Specialist (Sydney or Melbourne)

Workday Engineer / Specialist (12 month contract)

We're looking for a hands-on Workday Engineer / Specialist to support both BAU and project delivery across a live Workday environment.

This role will focus on building, enhancing, and optimising Workday solutions, working closely with business stakeholders across HR and Finance.

Key Responsibilities  
‍

• Design, build, and deploy Workday solutions and enhancements
• Work across sandbox environments to develop and test changes prior to release
• Support ongoing system optimisation and continuous improvement
• Deliver enhancements across a BAU + project hybrid environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology

Key Requirements
‍

• Strong hands-on Workday experience (not purely functional or advisory)
• Proven experience building and testing solutions in sandbox environments  
• Experience working in post-implementation / live environments

Workday Modules

Open to:  

• Workday Finance, OR
• HCM / HRIS
• Depth in a module is more important than broad exposure

Ideal Profile  
‍

• Hands-on operator who can build and deliver, not just manage vendors
• Experience working in lean teams or smaller organisations
• Comfortable owning outcomes across both BAU and project delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams
