Data Platform Manager - Azure / AI
We are seeking a hands-on Data Platform Lead to own and evolve a modern cloud-native data environment. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions, enabling real-time data processing, advanced analytics, AI/ML capability, and self-service reporting across the organisation.
This role will focus on driving innovation through modern data platforms, Generative AI, and automation while establishing robust data architecture, pipelines, governance, and engineering best practices.
You and your team will be responsible for bringing together structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and transforming it into meaningful insights for advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
You will also play a key role in establishing and growing cutting-edge AI capabilities as the organisation continues its journey towards embedding AI into its services and operations.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong experience across data engineering, data architecture, and cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred)
- Exposure to Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake highly desirable
- Proven experience leading enterprise data platform initiatives
- Expertise in data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and real-time processing
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, Generative AI, and MLOps practices
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern data capability uplift
