This Systems Administrator role sits within a well-established not-for-profit organisation supporting a large Microsoft environment. You'll focus on the administration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 services and identity platforms, ensuring secure and reliable access across cloud and on-prem systems.

Working within a collaborative infrastructure team, you'll play a key role in improving governance, automation and identity lifecycle processes while supporting the ongoing evolution of the organisation's Microsoft ecosystem.

About the Role

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Manage identity platforms across Active Directory and Entra ID within a hybrid environment.
• Maintain Exchange hybrid environments spanning cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Improve identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding and role-based access management.
• Contribute to automation and governance initiatives across the Microsoft platform.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and work with vendors to resolve complex incidents.

About You

• Experienced Systems Administrator with strong Microsoft 365 and identity platform experience.
• Hands-on capability across Active Directory, Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Experience scripting or automating tasks using PowerShell.
• Collaborative communicator comfortable working across infrastructure, security and application teams.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on improving governance, automation and platform efficiency.
