Design Systems Support Administrator (AUTOCAD)

• Design Systems Support Engineer
• 12-month contract | Part-time (approx. 3 days per week)
• Melbourne-based (Hybrid / 1 day in office)

We're looking for someone to support the management and stability of our engineering design systems environment.

You'll be responsible for incident management, user access, configuration, and vendor coordination across platforms used for design and drawing management including AutoCAD or similar design tool.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being across multiple engineering and infrastructure tools. You'll work closely with IT and design teams, help keep systems running smoothly, and coordinate with vendors for escalations and updates.

What you'll do

• Manage incidents, requests, and escalations for design and drawing management systems
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, and configuration settings across platforms
• Support system upgrades, testing, and documentation
• Liaise with vendors for 3rd-level support and complex issue resolution
• Work across GIS and SAP integrations to ensure stable interfaces and data flow
• Partner with internal teams to continually improve processes and system reliability

What you'll bring
‍

• Experience supporting or administering AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault, Revit, or similar design tools
• Familiarity with GIS, SAP, or related enterprise systems
• Understanding of design and drawing management workflows in engineering or utilities environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple systems
