Senior Azure Integration Engineer

We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation investing heavily in its cloud and integration capability. As part of a major technology transformation, we're seeking an experienced Azure Integration Developer to design, build and support enterprise integration solutions across a complex environment. We're open to permanent, fixed-term contract and daily rate candidates.

The Opportunity
‍

Join a high-performing technology team delivering modern, scalable and secure integration solutions. Working closely with architects, developers, business analysts and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in designing and implementing Azure-based integration services that support both strategic projects and BAU operations.

Key Responsibilities
‍

• Design, develop, test and deploy integration solutions using Azure Integration Services
• Build and maintain APIs, messaging solutions and event-driven integrations
• Develop solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management and Event Grid
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable integration designs
• Support and enhance existing integration platforms and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and performance issues
• Contribute to integration standards, governance frameworks and best practices
• Support CI/CD processes and automation initiatives using Azure DevOps
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across cross-functional delivery teams

Skills & Experience
‍

• Commercial experience delivering Azure integration solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience across Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid and Azure DevOps
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging frameworks and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, OAuth and Azure AD authentication and authorisation frameworks
• Experience working with JSON, XML and related data formats
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM), enterprise architecture exposure, large-scale transformation experience, Microsoft Azure certifications.
