Product Director (B2B)
Permanent | Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne

Our client is a scaled Australian technology platform operating a two-sided marketplace, backed by a major Australian tech investor. The business is in scale-up mode with the CPTO actively building out the senior product team. The B2B product is the organisation's number one strategic priority, with board-level investment commitment and a rapidly growing enterprise customer base.
About the Role
- Own the B2B product domain end-to-end, driving product strategy, commercial outcomes, and execution across a high-growth platform
- Develop and own the product roadmap anchored to commercial OKRs, presenting strategy and investment cases to the CEO, CPTO, executive leadership group, and board
- Lead a cross-functional squad including design, engineering, and data through matrix management, evolving the platform to meet enterprise needs while delivering customer-facing value
- Drive integration strategy for large customers including agentic AI use cases, and champion AI enablement across the B2B product
- Own commercial metrics including adoption, conversion, and retention; drive pricing, payments, and invoicing workstreams through the platform engineering team
- Build out the detail and sequencing beneath strategic themes already mapped at a high level
About You
- 10+ years in product management with demonstrated B2B commercial product experience
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate metrics, unit economics, impact delivered, and the strategies behind it
- A strategic thinker who can develop and defend a product strategy — not someone waiting to be told what to work on
- Senior stakeholder management experience, comfortable presenting to C-suite, board, and business unit leaders
- Marketplace or high-growth SaaS background; data-driven decision making combining quantitative and qualitative insight
- Demonstrated tenure and depth at previous companies, showing end-to-end product delivery over meaningful timeframes
- Financial acumen across unit economics, commercial levers, and how revenue flows in a regulated environment
- Nice to have: marketplace dynamics, AI delivery experience, SaaS enterprise integration, finance/consulting/entrepreneurship background

- Sydney preferred, open to Melbourne; hybrid with 2 days in office including Thursdays
