Senior Project Manager - Autodesk / Bentley

Our client requires a Project Manager to lead technical upgrade projects within an infrastructure environment. This position involves coordinating and managing technically complex initiatives, including virtual machines, firewalls, and broader infrastructure components, mainly from a project delivery perspective. It is suited to someone methodical, experienced with infrastructure upgrades, and comfortable working with minimal stakeholder demand. The environment is hybrid, with three days physical presence per week in Melbourne.

About the Role
‍

• Plan and deliver the technical upgrade projects, adhering to scope, schedule, and risk management
• Manage dependencies, vendor interactions, and project governance
• Facilitate technical coordination related to VMs, firewalls, and infrastructure systems
• Track progress reporting to governance bodies and stakeholders
• Maintain delivery timelines and quality standards within a hybrid working setup
• Support problem solving around technical risks and complex system dependencies

About You
‍

• Proven experience managing upgrade projects, ideally involving Autodesk or Bentley systems
• Knowledge of virtual machines, firewalls, and infrastructure environments from a project perspective
• Familiar with hybrid delivery methodologies, including waterfall and agile practices
• Skilled in project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and experienced delivering technically complex projects
• Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2 or similar are advantageous
