Ben Cass

Together with Hamish Sinclair, I founded Marshall McAdam in 2009, now known as Emmbr. Our intention was realised in creating a highly specialised recruitment consultancy that delivered high-value recruitment outcomes to clients, and provided a supportive, sustainable and rewarding culture that would attract the best recruiters in the market. 

At Emmbr, my focus today is supporting our strategic goals and ambitions for our next growth phase. Although no longer hands-on these days, I still stay active with my network of senior leaders across the industry. 

I would describe myself as a thoughtful, dedicated and optimistic person. I have always had a strong sense of self-belief, which translates into how I work and lead. There is always a solution to be found so long as you put in the thinking, commit to a course of action and remain positive!

I have a particular interest in learning more about tech product strategy and how the best tech companies are transforming how we work and live. 

Outside of work, I spend time practising golf and more recently, running. I’ve run three half marathons in 2021/22, and I'm getting ready for my 4th with a goal to break 1hr 50 minutes.
