Integration Technical Lead - SAP Environment

We're working with a large enterprise organisation looking for an Integration Technical Lead to join their project team and take ownership of a complex integration landscape across operational systems and SAP.

This is a hands-on role where you'll step into an environment with multiple live systems, many of which are not fully documented, and bring structure, clarity and stability as part of a broader program of work.

The Role
‍

• You'll act as the technical owner across upstream operational systems, working closely with SAP and integration teams to ensure systems are understood, aligned and fit for purpose as part of ongoing project delivery.
• While aligned to a project team, the work will focus heavily on understanding and improving existing integrations, rather than purely greenfield builds.

What You'll Be Doing
‍

• Take ownership of systems integrating into SAP
• Analyse and document interfaces, data flows and system behaviour
• Reverse-engineer undocumented systems using logs and production data  
• Define and maintain clear integration and data contracts
• Work closely with SAP CPI / integration teams to align system behaviour
• Support project delivery, testing and issue resolution
• Identify risks, gaps and constraints and provide practical solutions

What You'll Bring
‍

• Experience in a Technical Lead or Integration Lead role
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI (essential)
• Proven experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments (essential)
• Exposure to other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, ServiceNow, or Azure Integration Services
• Solid understanding of APIs, file-based integrations and data flows
• Ability to work through complex, undocumented environments
• Development background in Java and/or .NET
