IT Training Lead

A leading national law firm is looking for an experienced IT Training Lead to join their Melbourne team in a newly created, greenfield role.

This is a genuine opportunity to build something. You'll come in as the senior trainer, establish the function, and grow a team around you. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Delivery, you'll lead the rollout of training across the firm's core legal platforms and broader technology suite, including Microsoft Co-pilot.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and delivering IT training programs across the firm's legal technology platforms.
• Leading the rollout of AML and broader IT systems training across the Melbourne office and beyond.
• Building out a training team from the ground up - this is a leadership role with real scope to shape the function.
• Driving adoption of Microsoft Co-pilot and modern workplace tools across a professional services environment.
• Partnering with IT, operations and practice groups to identify training needs and deliver practical, user-focused solutions.
• Developing training materials, resources and frameworks that are fit for purpose in a fast-paced legal environment.

What You'll Need

• Hands-on experience with Aderant, Elite and iManage - all three are essential.
• A background in IT training within a law firm environment - this is a non-negotiable.
• 4–7 years' experience in IT training or learning and development, with at least some of that in legal.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training that actually lands - not just slides and tick-boxes.
• The confidence and credibility to engage partners, lawyers and support staff alike.
• A genuine interest in building something - you're energised by greenfield, not daunted by it.
