AWS Contact Centre Engineer

A financial services organisation is looking for an AWS Contact Center Engineer to design, support and enhance its Amazon Connect platform and associated customer engagement technologies.

This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for the design, administration, optimisation and continuous improvement of the platform. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable and resilient customer engagement solutions.

About the Role
‍

• Design, administer and optimise the Amazon Connect platform.
• Support contact flows, routing, telephony and security.
• Build and maintain AWS and Dynamics 365 integrations.
• Develop AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway and CloudWatch.
• Deliver IVR, chat, callback and task routing solutions.
• Monitor platform performance and resolve complex issues.
• Lead platform enhancements and deployments.
• Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Support platform governance, security and compliance.

About You
‍

• Experience designing and supporting Amazon Connect in an enterprise environment.
• Strong AWS experience across core platform services.
• Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Dynamics 365 and other Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of contact centre technologies, telephony and SIP.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON and JavaScript.
• Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
