Business Analyst - BCP

Offering hybrid working, this company is based on the city fringe.

A large, complex business, relevant industries would be large, operational companies such as heavy industry, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, waste or even health.

The Role

Working with an existing internal team, you will be able to demonstrate your strong experience in business continuity and experience working with SME's to develop usable plans, strategies and recovery steps.

You will be confident mapping processes, dependencies and workarounds, be able to run workshops and be outcome focused.

Skills & Experience
‍

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with evidence working on Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Resilience or Risk, as well as IT Operations
• Proven experience conducting BIAs and developing clear, well-defined Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
• Strong, hands-on capability to independently gather and synthesise SME inputs into tangible plans, strategies and recovery steps.
• Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to convert rough or incomplete information into well-structured BCP/BIA deliverables.
• Confident taking ownership of both function-level and system-level BCPs with minimal guidance
• Tertiary Degree in IT or other relevant discipline is advantageous, but not mandatory
• Industry Certifications, where relevant, could be beneficial e.g. CBCP
• Background or exposure to large, operationally intensive industries is advantageous
