Technical lead - Software Development

You will play a key role in leading technical problem-solving, guiding engineering teams, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions.
The position also involves mentoring engineers, managing delivery processes, and overseeing CI/CD practices within an Azure DevOps environment.
Alongside delivery, you will support the ongoing operation of applications, ensuring system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. This includes collaborating with vendors and partners, maintaining documentation, and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and automation.
This is a well-rounded role suited to someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical work, leadership, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Role
- Lead and influence technical problem solving and solution design.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Lead system evaluations, testing, and documentation as required.
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership for solution design and delivery.
Requirements
- Team player with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively.
- Strong prioritisation and time-management skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure, juggling conflicting priorities, and delivering to tight timeframes.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to drive process improvements. \Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise reports.
- Experience in DevOps practices such as CICD, automation, infrastructure as code and monitoring.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns, TDD, BDD & test automation.
- Experience in web-based content management systems in .NET CMS platforms such as Xperience by Kentico (XbyK), Umbraco or Sitecore.
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas: C#, .NET Core, React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, WebPack, Handlebars and JQuery.
