SCADA EMS Team Lead

We're partnering with a leading energy distributor on a Melbourne-based opportunity for an experienced Team Lead to oversee the support, maintenance and continual improvement of a complex SCADA/EMS environment.  

This role is suited to someone with strong master station or control room SCADA experience who can lead a small, experienced technical team while driving operational performance, incident and problem management, system enhancements and service reliability across a critical OT environment.

About the role
‍

• Lead a small team responsible for the support, maintenance and continuous improvement of SCADA/EMS systems in a 24/7 operational environment
• Oversee incident, problem and change management activities, ensuring service levels, system availability and operational performance are maintained
• Plan and prioritise team workloads, balancing project delivery with operational support requirements
• Drive system upgrades, production releases, testing and transition of changes into support
• Work closely with operational stakeholders, infrastructure, architecture and security teams
• Support process improvement, team development and broader operational maturityAbout you
• Demonstrated experience in SCADA/EMS environments at the master station or control room level
• Previous experience leading small technical teams in complex OT environments
• Strong understanding of incident, problem and change management in high-availability environments
• Solid knowledge of OT infrastructure, networking, resilience and cyber/security considerations
• Able to manage both technical responsibilities and people leadership
• Experience with GE e-terra / AEMS or similar SCADA platforms will be highly regarded
